Affiliate disclosure

Weight Loss Fact Checker is free to read. We pay for it through affiliate links: if you click one of our links to a retailer and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay doesn't change.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

How we label it

• Pages with affiliate links show a notice near the top, before the first link.
• Affiliate buttons are clearly marked and open the retailer's site.
• On social media, posts that link to products are labelled #ad.

What it never changes

• Verdicts. We rate the claim before we look at any products.
• Rankings. Products are ordered by how well they fit the evidence and the reader's needs, not by commission.
• Criticism. We publish "not backed" verdicts on popular products, even when we could earn from them.

Prescription medicines

We don't take commission from, link to, or promote sellers of prescription-only medicines. Our medication fact checks are information only.

Prices

We don't show prices, because they change often. Check the retailer's site for the current price before you buy.
